Hi. My name is Kasey.
I am a mom of two precious boys that are the very beats of my heart.
I am a wife. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am an aunt. I am a niece. And boy.. does that give me stories to tell!!
Most importantly, I am a child of God. He has blessed me in so many ways and has always been and will always be faithful. He is the center of my world and the reason my world keeps turning.
Now, onto why I am here…
For starters, I have two boys. They are constantly doing new things. Things that make me proud. Things that make me laugh. Things that make me ask one simple question— why? There are so many stories to tell about my boys and when I’m sharing them with loved ones, especially my mom, I am constantly being told that I need to start a blog to share these stories with everyone else. So, here I am.
Next reason— I have faith. I’ve read blogs over the past several years that have inspired me in some way or another. The ones that stand out the most are the encouraging ones, the ones that remind me of the awesomeness of our Lord and Creator. There have been many days I opened a blog only to read what I needed, spiritually, for that day. Like God had somehow used that writer, at that moment in time, to write one blog that was meant specifically for me. If I can minister to one person through my new adventure of blogging, no matter how long that may be, it’ll be worth it!
My third reason for writing this blog is the simple fact that life is a journey. It has many ups and many downs. We’ve recently closed a chapter in our lives and started writing a new one. We are experiencing many new adventures. I have several friends and loved ones who are constantly asking me about how life is going and how this and that are turning out and how we are getting through it. I would like to share our adventures, some of our highest and lowest moments, and how we endure them. If for nothing else, but encouragement as to how things can work out for you.
My final reason is to do what I enjoy- sharing my life, my laughs, my loves, my advice and insight. Despite all that comes our way, I enjoy every moment. I’m so very thankful for the life God has given me- the precious family, the strength to get through, and the many blessings in disguise.
So here’s to a new adventure- the blog! I hope you enjoy every minute of Everyday KC and feel free to comment or reach out to me any time!
